With a view from the armchair like this, how could we not!?
This time-lapse documents and pays tribute to our first true experience of Autumn, and the changes this season brings.
When we first arrived the garden was a bang of colour. The grass was lush, the colours of the hedges were deep, and trees were bright greens and the most spectacular yellows.
As time progressed we saw leaves change from green to yellow, grow dull, then fall, leaving branches bare. (Watch the tree in the middle right).
We watched the gardener each morning who had the unenviable responsibility of leaf clean up. It was a never ending, uphill battle sweeping up mounds of leaves lost to the winds of the prior night.
It is crazy how quickly things change. If only we were there longer to see the garden dusted with snow, but you guys know how it is – places to go, people to see, croissants to eat etc…
