Prague! in December! These two North Queenslanders froze their jingle bells off

Prague was the most perfect destination for our first European Christmas. The city, although bleak in sky was bright in Christmas cheer – even the *grinch-iest of grinches would have thawed amongst the abundance of mulled wine vendors and Christmas Markets at every corner.

Skies were miserable and grey, fog and frost – constant, therefore so was our insatiable appetite / need for the warming goodness of the hot Christmas booze at our local market.

In Prague we walked the city, admiring the colours of the buildings. We visited grand old libraries, walked Charles Bridge, fed swans, admired castles and played in a mirror maze.

Preparing for Christmas we bought our very first REAL tree, tried egg nog, and tinkered Christmas carols on our apartment piano.
